All Kate Protz London lampshades are handmade to order and hold a lead time of approximately 7 – 14 days. During busy periods such as Christmas and promotional Sales, this lead time can increase to 14 – 21 working days (three-four weeks).
EXTENDED LAMPSHADE LEAD TIMES WILL BE ADVERTISED IN A BANNER ACROSS THE TOP OF THE WEBSITE. Any other item ordered from the Kate Protz London website will have a lead time of 3 – 5 working days unless otherwise stated on the product page.
– If you order more than one item, it is possible that your order will be delivered at different times.
If you order more than one item, it is also possible that your order will be held at our workshops until the order is complete and ready to dispatch in full. Our Customer Service team will advise how we are managing your order.
– Please note that dispatch estimates are not guaranteed dispatch times and should not be relied upon as such.
Where do we ship?
We deliver both to the UK and Internationally with our couriers DPD Local, Royal Mail, Parcelforce, and more. We will always aim to get you the most reliable and cost-efficient service from our courier providers.
All large packages will be delivered on the next (working) day tracked and insured service with DPD local. Once the shipping labels have been produced DPD Local will email/text you with your tracking number and on the day of delivery, you will receive a text with your one-hour delivery slot.
Small packages will be shipped via Royal Mail.

How much does it cost?
Mainland UK Standard Shipping – £4.99 per consignment, all other items within the ONE order will not be charged. The following areas not in located in the UK mainland are subject to higher shipping charges and will be shipped on a two-day service. The following prices are also the charger per consignment and again, other items within the one order will be free;
Scottish Highlands £11, Scottish Islands £19, the Isle of Wight £15.00
The Channel Islands £16 Isle of Man £15, Isle of Scilly £15.00
Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland – £11.00
The prices quoted are per box, therefore if you order more than one item in one order then you will be charged the following shipping rate again for all subsequent items. If, however, all items that constitute one order can be fitted into one box then you will be reimbursed the second charge upon notification to us.

Please note: we reserve the right to decline orders for delivery to some countries if delivery charges or import taxes are prohibitive.
As we process your order, we will inform you by email or phone if any products you order turn out to be unavailable or if delivery time will be longer than stated.
Returns terms & conditions
You have the right to cancel your order at any time from the moment you place your online order, and up to 14 days from the day you receive your goods. You must notify us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to cancel your order within this time period. You then have a further 14 days from the date you notify us of your cancellation to return your order.
A credit note will be issued to the value of the item(s) returned if the request to return is made after 14 days from the date of delivery. No Credit notes or refunds will be given if the request to return your order is made after 1 month from the date of delivery.
Personalized / Bespoke Lampshades.
Refunds and/or credit notes will not be issued on any bespoke, made for your lampshades. These include lampshades which are not part of our current stock collection available to view online. For example: if you provide your own material or choose a size or color combination outside our set stock sizes available online.
Please remember that all our lampshades are lovingly handmade to order so we ask that you make sure to measure your space carefully to ensure you are ordering the correct size and to avoid returns. We are on hand to advise on sizing if need be.
We offer free fabric swatches of all our fabrics and linings. Please remember that computer, phone, and tablet screens reproduce colors differently.
The cost of return postage is the buyer’s responsibility unless otherwise arranged. The buyer is also responsible for any loss or damage to the shade on the return journey so please ensure you use a reputable courier service that offers insurance. Please ensure you use the original packaging and include your order details, failing to do so may delay your refund. The refund will be issued to the original payment method within 5 working days of a satisfactory return, the refund will not include any initial postage charges incurred

If your item arrives with you damaged or faulty you must inform us within 48 hours of receiving the delivery. Please include your name, order number, and images of the damaged item.
